Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Pittsburg, Texas is seeking an Accounting Specialist Lead – Fuel to manage fuel cost tracking, inventory and payables with strong attention to detail. You will generate monthly to annual fuel reports, verify costs and keep inventories balanced.

The role requires 2 years in clerical or accounting work, proficiency in MS Office, and SAP experience is a plus. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential for timely month‑end close.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years of clerical or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual fuel reports as required.
• Track and verify costs on fuel related entries.
• Balance fuel inventories on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain off site fuel card program.
• Enter accounts payable for pay all fuel suppliers.
• Enter accurate fuel accounting and reporting with manual and electric interface programs.
• Communicate daily with outside suppliers and Truck Shop Management.
• Assist with fuel audits
• Complete Month End fuel task with strict deadlines.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
