Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager develops and manages all import and export regulations and policies.
Develops/manages all import and export regulations and policies. Coordinates customs audits and inquires. Assist in negotiating international freight and broker/forwarder contracts and requirements. Develop international trade policies and procedures. Manage all adherence to all license requirements and insure that all certifications and requirements are met-e.g. (NAFTA, CTPAT, ITAR,EAR. ) Work closely with technical and legal entities to ensure tariff classification compliance. Develops and implements logistics services to support each element of a business area's supply chain model.
Must abide by all health and Safety Rules and Regulations and comply with the principles of the TS 16949 and ISO14001 programs.
Responsible for high electronic and customer service quality, and compliance to company standards.
Maintain good working relationship with others.
