Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a C-17 FTU Manager to oversee training system activities, supervise instructors, technicians and staff, and ensure contract compliance with USAF and CLS requirements.

This role directly manages site operations and coordinates with government counterparts. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of flying experience, including military service, and 4+ years in flight operations or training management, with strong leadership and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of flight operations and/or flight training management experience.
• 8+ years total flying experience, including 5 years military, with at least 2 years as a flight instructor.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FTU operations for C-17 training and ensure contract compliance.
• Provide leadership to instructors, maintenance staff, and site administrator.
• Serve as primary liaison between Government PO/QAR and CAE USA Program Manager.
• Coordinate with CORs and Government CLS Project Officer on FTU activities.
• Ensure timely submission of FTU deliverables and maintain safety and security standards.
