Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager for its Telecom team to lead and manage multiple telecom projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, sales, and customer service to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and process improvement. Competitive compensation is offered in a full-time, on-site role in the Omaha area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience acceptable.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience in telecom or related industries.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing complex telecom projects end-to-end.
• Knowledge of telecom technologies (FTTx, Long-Haul, B2B; wireless and data services).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects, aligning with goals.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and manage resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: engineering, operations, sales, and customer service.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to meet objectives.
• Monitor progress with KPIs and report to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of PM processes and methodologies.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior members.
• Provide guidance on telecom trends and best practices.
