Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager for the Telecom team to lead multiple telecom projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, sales, and customer service to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and adherence to specifications.

Requirements include a minimum of 6 years in project management within telecom, strong leadership and communication skills, and a PMP or equivalent credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, sciences, construction planning, or related area.
• In lieu of bachelor’s degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, with telecom focus.
• PMP certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Experience with PM tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira or Asana.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and manage resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, sales, and customer service.
• Identify risks, mitigate issues, and create contingency plans.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, and report updates to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of PM processes and methodologies.
• Foster collaborative environment and professional development.
• Provide guidance on telecom trends and mentor junior team members.
