Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager for Telecom to lead multiple telecom projects from initiation to completion in a collaborative, results-driven environment. You will coordinate engineering, operations, sales, and customer service teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires at least 6 years of telecom project management experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with FTTx, Long-Haul, and data services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience in telecommunications.
• Proven track record managing telecom projects from initiation to completion.
• Knowledge of telecom technologies including FTTx, Long-Haul, B2B; wireless and data services.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects concurrently.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets; allocate resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, sales, and customer service.
• Identify and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans to meet objectives.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, and provide updates to stakeholders and management.
• Drive process improvements in project management methodologies.
• Foster collaborative, inclusive team environment with open communication.
• Mentor junior team members on telecom trends and best practices.
