Ezee Fiber, a top-rated FTTH provider, seeks a qualified Network Technician in Salem, Oregon. You will configure, install and test FTTH equipment in control facilities, maintain DC power systems, active Ethernet devices, and PON OLT systems, and install fiber cabling outdoors on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• Experience with telecom facilities installations.
• DC power systems and cabling experience.
• Cable management of fiber optic cabling.
• Frontline field experience and ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Valid driver license and computer fluency.
• MS Office proficiency and effective communication.
• Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Eltek power systems and electrical safety training.
• Experience installing OLT platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain DC power systems, battery banks, and telecom inverters.
• Grounding and power cabling of devices in facilities.
• Install and maintain FTTH facilities equipment and fiber cabling.
• Monitor facilities environment and test FTTH services.
• Provide field support to network engineering and document FTTH assets.
• Maintain FTTH equipment inventory and assist in testing new zones.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal contacts on projects.
