Reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities, this position provides essential support to the Facilities Department, which includes new construction, major and minor renovations, facility operations, and contracted services such as custodial work, groundskeeping, and snow removal. The Facilities Department is responsible for a multi-million-dollar operating budget to manage all college-owned buildings across multiple campuses.
Key responsibilities include facilitating capital equipment purchases, and completing all related procurement and invoice processing to ensure college facilities remain fully operational and well-maintained. Additionally, this role serves as a primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries and handling work orders.
This position requires an on-campus presence five days a week and may require after-hours availability during emergencies. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan.
