Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities seeks a Resident Assistant at Vista Prairie at Ridgeway, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Earn $19.19-$22.25/hour for a Full-Time PM shift with every other weekend. Includes an $800 sign-on bonus and a supportive team environment focused on compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, medication administration, and building meaningful resident relationships while maintaining safety and dignity at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training in health-related disciplines and/or experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility and transfers for resident safety and comfort.
• Administer or assist with medications according to care plans.
• Build positive relationships and respond to resident needs promptly.
• Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and report to staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect
• Assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer or assist with medications according to care plans and training
• Build positive relationships and create meaningful moments with residents
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to appropriate staff

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.
