The primary responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking dates, updating pricing for out-of-code items, and performing all department tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Unload trucks, break down loads, assemble U-boats per department, and transport them to the floor.
• Stock shelves, manage backstock, and maintain store presentation.
• Break down and flatten cardboard, and bail cardboard as necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Meet company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate required equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: 8 hours or more, depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: Continual maximum effort.
• Lift/carry: Up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%, Walk: 45%, Sit: 0%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
• Knowledge of MSDS information for all materials used.
• Complete and adhere to Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and Key Carrier training.
