Job summary

Aventura at Pembrooke in Delaware County, PA, seeks a Maintenance Director to lead our facility maintenance team and oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. You will develop maintenance programs, manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with contractors and supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Proven leadership experience managing a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians, custodians, and groundskeepers.
• Oversee housekeeping dept and maintain and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and departmental budgets.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to residents and daily operations.
• Coordinate and supervise work performed by outside contractors and service vendors.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in facility maintenance and management.
• Flexible in working any given shift especially on the weekend.

Aventura at Pembrooke is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Director to lead our facility maintenance operations and ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
