Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Tuscaloosa County Jail in Alabama, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on rotating 12-hour shifts. You will provide direct nursing care in a structured correctional setting, administer medications, and perform assessments while collaborating with a medical team.

This role emphasizes independence, organization, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the healthcare team.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM).
• Corrections experience is a plus, not required.
