Job summary

The Burlington County Library System seeks a flexible, detail-oriented team player to join the Lifelong Learning team as a FT Library Associate, Digital Learning. The role combines strong customer service with technology support across on-site and off-site programs.

You will provide outstanding service to library visitors, host technology programs to expand digital fluency, coordinate demonstrations at community sites, and maintain our Community Resources Information Directory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

ABOUT BCLS
The Burlington County Library System (BCLS) consists of 15 locations, and both a Mobile Library and a Mobile Learning Lab that travel to dozens of community touchpoints throughout the largest county in the state. In addition, a Library by Mail service expands our reach in new and unique ways. DESCRIPTION
The Burlington County Library System seeks a flexible, detail oriented, and community focused team player to join the Lifelong Learning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service ethos and solid technology skills. The individual must also exhibit excellent communication skills and a desire to expand library services and technology offerings to the community at the library and at off-site locations.

Some examples of duties include:

• Provide outstanding customer service to library visitors on site, via phone, or on our digital channels.
• Support and host a suite of technology programs to expand digital fluency and learning capabilities.
• Coordinate a schedule of off-site technology demonstrations at community parter sites around Burlington County and in collaboration with systemwide technology trainers.
• Maintain and refresh our in-house Community Resources Information Directory which connects our staff and the community to local, county, state, federal, and non-profit resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

SCHEDULE
Full-time at 37.5 hours per week. Schedule to be determined and includes evenings and weekends. Four Sundays per year.
