Duties And Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Welcome and connect with each customer.
  • Recommend products and assist with purchases to enhance the experience.
  • Provide product demonstrations and sampling.
Quality Assurance
  • Serve items that meet visual and quality standards.
  • Practice safe food handling.
  • Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance during shifts.
Store Profitability
  • Follow cash handling procedures and register policies.
  • Adhere to inventory and stock guidelines.
Barista Knowledge
  • Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training.
  • Learn and demonstrate standards of product and conduct per company and Starbucks standards.
Qualifications
  • Preferably supervisory and/or barista experience.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and possess valid identification.
  • Meet performance standards including attendance.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, walk 45% of the time.
  • Category IV lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
Preferred Requirements
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in employee manual.
