Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Welcome and connect with each customer.
  • Recommend products and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide product demonstrations and sampling.
Quality Assurance
  • Serve items that meet quality standards.
  • Follow safe food handling practices.
  • Adhere to merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance during shifts.
Store Profitability
  • Follow cash handling and register policies.
  • Follow inventory and stock guidelines.
Barista Knowledge
  • Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training.
  • Learn and demonstrate standards set by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.
Qualifications
  • Preferably supervisory or barista experience.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid ID.
  • Meet performance standards, including attendance.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, walk 45% during shifts.
Preferred Requirements
  • Understand company policies and procedures.
