DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Passion for Customer Service:
*Welcome and connect with each customer.
*Effectively recommend products and accommodate purchases to enhance the customer experience.
*Provide product demonstrations and sampling.
Focus on Quality Assurance:
*Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards.
*Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling.
*Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
*Present oneself in a clean professional manner during every shift.
Contribute to Store Profitability:
*Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies.
*Follow inventory and stock guidelines.
Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista:
*Responsible for self-initiated learning beyond the standard training program.
*Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.


QUALIFICATIONS

* Preferable supervisory and/or barista experience.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must have valid identification.
* Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
* Special skills: customer focused, strong interpersonal skills, and food handling certificate preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

*Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
*Job cycles: continual max
*Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
*Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
*Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
*Max pull static: 20 lbs.

*Team members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as promulgated in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.
