Job summary

HARR Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, OH is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in a clinic setting and assist with patient immobilization as needed. The role supports safety, quality improvement, and basic laboratory tasks to promote patient care.

Ideal candidates will be ARRT registered, hold an Ohio radiographer license, and have BLS within 30 days of hire; six months of phlebotomy or lab support experience is preferred.

Documents variances such as repeat film rates and other such occurrences; practices safe radiation exposure and protection as well as general safety for patients, visitors, and staff at all times.10. Maintains and stocks supplies, performs general office duties; properly labels film and follows prescribed techniques to assure acceptable quality and consistency.11. Prepare specimens in order to perform basic diagnostic procedures designed to contribute to accurate reproducible patient results.12. Operate laboratory equipment/instrumentation for basic testing and specimen processing consistent with standard operating procedures.13. Prepare reagents and solutions required to complete specimen processing and testing according to the standard operating procedures.14. Perform quality control procedures under direct supervision to ascertain the reliability of reagents and laboratory equipment/instrumentation.15. Perform routine maintenance and quality control of laboratory equipment/instrumentation.16. Report test results with limited errors and in a timely manner.17. Communicate any unusual supply usage or critical supply levels to the Supervisor/Manager.18.
