Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of leadership in housekeeping, strong communication, and excellent time management. Night, weekend, and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of leadership experience in housekeeping.
• High School education completed; post-secondary preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect suites and public areas for cleanliness and repairs.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available for associates.
• Coach and retrain associates on safety standards and perform safety investigations.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed (beds, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
