Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The role leads housekeeping operations to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming guest spaces across all outlets.

You will manage a team, ensure inventory and safety standards, and report to the General Manager. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays with a focus on service excellence and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a leadership housekeeping role.
• High school education required; post-secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards; retrain as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verify and update status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly select assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notify GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.


• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag , gloves and goggles.


• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.


• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.


• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.


• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.


• Perform opening and closing shift duties.


• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position


• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills


• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing


• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
