United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking compassionate Personal Assistants (Direct Care Professional) for full-time shifts in Webster Groves. You will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, support personal hygiene, and organize activities and community outings for clients with disabilities.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, plus 5–7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Clean driving record and license in good standing.
At least one weekend shift required.
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in customer service.
Good written and oral communication skills.

As a PERSONAL ASSISTNAT/DSP (Direct Care Provider)you will perform the following responsibilities:

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.

Follow medical orders and administer medications.

Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
