Job summary

UCP Heartland in Webster Groves is seeking compassionate and committed Personal Assistants (Direct Care Professional) for full-time shifts. This role supports people living with disabilities and provides daily living assistance, companionship, and community outings.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be able to work one weekend shift per weekend. Female applicants only, per client request.

Qualifications

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed PERSONAL ASSISTANTS ( Direct Care Professional) for FULL -TIME shifts.

$21.00/Hour

WEBSTER GROVES

Thursday 8:45AM - 9:15PM; Friday 12:45PM - 11:15PM; Sunday 10:45AM - 11:15PM

(THIS IS A SET 35.5 Hour/Week SCHEDULE)

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.

Minimum Employment Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
