Job summary

Brookestone Village is seeking a Culinary Assistant (Full-Time, Day shift) to join a caring, award-winning team in Omaha, NE. You will support meal preparation, maintain sanitary kitchen areas, and help with dining room cleanliness.

Qualifications are flexible; experience as a cook or kitchen handler is a plus. The position offers a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule with every other weekend and a wage between $16.00 and $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or kitchen handler is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
