Job summary

Pioneer Ridge Health & Rehab is seeking a Charge RN/LPN to join our team. You will direct and document nursing care under the supervision of the DON and report to the Director of Nursing.

You will supervise nursing staff, educate patients and families, and maintain clinical records while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, including infection control.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Experience directing care according to patient care plans.
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing requirements.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families.

As a Charge RN/LPN, you will work under the general supervision of the DON to direct, administer and record the care given to residents in this facility. The Charge Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Monitor work of other nursing staff in unit to insure thoroughness and assist with tasks as needed.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
