Job summary

Pioneer Ridge Health & Rehab is seeking a Charge RN/LPN in Lawrence, KS to join our care team. You will direct, administer and document resident care under the supervision of the DON and in partnership with physicians, patients and families to ensure quality outcomes.

You will supervise unit staff, review care plans and clinical records, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to meet state and federal requirements. Come join our family as a Charge RN/LPN today!

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient's care.
• Monitor work of other nursing staff in unit to insure thoroughness and assist with tasks as needed.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient's care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety

As a Charge RN/LPN, you will work under the general supervision of the DON to direct, administer and record the care given to residents in this facility. The Charge Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing.
