Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment across the club. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, assist in stocking supplies, and ensure high standards of hygiene for members and staff.

Must be 18+ with custodial experience preferred; be able to lift up to 75 lbs and be on your feet most of the shift. Company offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain club facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on feet during shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and gym floors daily.
• Clean locker rooms, restrooms, showers and related areas.
• Stock supplies and report any damaged or missing items to the Club Manager.

This includes:cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floorcleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker areaproperly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker roomsreport broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club ManagerJob Requirements:Successful prior custodial experienced preferredHigh School diploma/GED preferredMust be 18 years of age or olderPhysical Demands:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Continual standing and walking during shiftFrequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shiftContinual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shiftWill encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
