Job summary

National Fitness Partners in Altoona, PA is hiring a Full-Time Cleaner for a third shift (Mon-Thu, 10pm–6am) starting at $12/hour. Hourly increases occur at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months thereafter, with additional anniversary-based raises.

You will clean and sanitize fitness equipment, locker rooms and restrooms, stock supplies, assist members at check-in and support club operations. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) with employer match, health options, life and disability coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus.
• Ability to work third shift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Clean locker rooms, restrooms, showers and locker area.
• Properly dispose of trash and stock supplies around club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
• Assist members with check-in and sales.

Cleaner Responsibilities

As a member of our staff, the Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed. This includes:
• cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor
• cleaning and sanitizing the locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities and locker area
• properly dispose of trash stock all supplies around club and in locker rooms
• report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager
• Assist members with check in, sales, black card spa
