Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and document all incoming goods, manage the unloading process, and supervise the distribution of goods to storage or departments.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Oversee and document incoming goods, supervise unloading, and distribute goods appropriately.
3. Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock area.
4. Move pallets with pallet jacks and place them into storage with hi-lift equipment.
5. Oversee return goods loading and general organization of received goods.
6. Ensure accurate data entry and verification in the store computer system.
7. Manage shipments, including UPS and bailing operations.
8. Assemble displays when needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Ability to operate relevant equipment and tools.
• First Aid and CPR training preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling requirements.

Preferred Skills and Training

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training.
