The Computer Information Technologies Program (CIT) is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and coordinate CIT Computer Information Technology & Support courses. These courses include, but are not limited to, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Hardware support, and Business Applications, consistent with current developments and teaching methods in the discipline. The faculty member will participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes, and work closely with business and industry partners. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. This is a 34-week position involving daytime, evening, and may include instruction of high school students within the college setting.

Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years’ experience in related field; OR Associate's Degree and minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Business, Education, and Computer related field.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification, or willingness and ability to acquire said certification upon being hired.
  • Networking + or Cisco Certified Networking Associates (CCNA).
  • Two years’ experience teaching in higher education or experience in the business field as a trainer.
