Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, follow food safety requirements, perform markdowns, and complete all department tasks as needed.
  3. Monitor inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into the cooler, select, stock, and restock items, and maintain displays.
  4. Achieve all key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
  5. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
  6. Track and report losses using known loss tracking (KLT).
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties satisfactorily and comply with policies and safety regulations.
  • Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
  • Meet ergonomic, physical, and base score requirements for the position.
  • Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
  • Perform all job functions safely.
  • Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
  • Adhere to all food safety requirements for the produce department.
  • Wear proper approved clothing and shoes for the job.
  • Have at least 1 year of work experience or technical training.
  • Possess keyboarding skills.
  • Complete in-house forklift training.
  • Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum shift: 8 hours
  • Stand 55%, walk 45%
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs., static pull of 20 lbs.
  • Perform job cycles continually.

Team members should understand company policies and procedures as outlined in the manual and handbook.
