Lead and support daily dining room operations with attention to detail and warmth
Supervise, assign, and assist servers to ensure timely, quality service
Monitor meal delivery to ensure proper temperature and presentation
Oversee opening/closing procedures, table setups, and cleanliness
Assist with training new team members and promote team success
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food handling regulations
Attend and contribute to team huddles, food safety meetings, and learning circles
Report hazards, accidents, and equipment concerns to dining leadership
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a neat appearance
The Lead Dining Server is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring excellent service, and supporting the server team to provide exceptional dining experience. This role combines leadership and hands-on service, including training new staff, coordinating seating arrangements, and addressing residents’ questions or concerns. The Lead Dining Server works closely with management to maintain high service standards, while also taking ownership of opening and closing duties. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
