Bridgewater Retirement Community is seeking a Lead Dining Server to oversee daily dining operations and guide a small server team in delivering exceptional service to residents. The role emphasizes warmth, efficiency, and high standards in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifikationen

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must treat residents, family, guests, and coworkers with kindness and provide excellent customer service.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required prior to starting.
• Must read menus, instruction sheets, diet orders, recipes, and understand food prep and textures.
• Serving or customer service and leadership experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred, but can be obtained on the job.

Requirements

• Must treat residents, family, guests, and coworkers with kindness, respect, and demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Criminal background check, drug screen must be completed and acceptable prior to starting work.
• Must be able to read menus, written instructions, diet orders, recipes, and understand measurement, preparation, and categories of food for special diets, including texture modifications and thickened liquids.
• Serving or Customer Service and Leadership experience preferred
• Servsafe certification preferred, but can be obtained on the job

Summary

The Lead Dining Server is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring excellent service, and supporting the server team to provide exceptional dining experience. This role combines leadership and hands-on service, including training new staff, coordinating seating arrangements, and addressing residents’ questions or concerns. The Lead Dining Server works closely with management to maintain high service standards, while also taking ownership of opening and closing duties. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
