Qualifications

  • Master’s in Psychology or Master’s in Clinical Psychology; specialized/applied degrees should be evaluated according to tested experiences with a thorough graduate course review.
  • Two years of Mental Health experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of college-level teaching experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Blackboard Learning Management System, preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of staff and students required
  • Experience with a diverse, multi-lingual student population is desired, as is a commitment to the open access mission of the community college.
  • Prior experience with online teaching (via Zoom) and/or teaching certification is strongly preferred.

  • Contribute to and provide leadership in the student’s academic and professional communities, and promote collaboration and teamwork among members of these communities.

Malcolm X College is currently seeking a Full-Time Faculty member to teach Psychology. Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000
