• Maintain accurate records of student visits and inventory of items using PantrySoft.
• Assist with processing and fulfilling online orders placed through PantrySoft for pickup at the Falcon Bazaar.
• Maintain bazaar stock and tidiness, including moving and unpacking boxes, and organizing shelves and clothing racks.
• Attend bi-weekly/monthly 1:1 meetings with supervisors and monthly in-service staff training sessions.
• Help plan, set up, staff, and break down displays for outreach events, donation drives, and campus tabling.
• Help create content for the office's social media to promote programs, services, and events.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

The Office of CARE & Case Management is seeking a federal aid recipient for student employment. This position will be funded by federal work study dollars; only students that receive financial aid awards can be considered.

As a Basic Needs Operations Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face of the Falcon Bazaar Food & Necessities Pantry and the Professional Clothing Closet. Helping fellow Fitchburg State University students access food, hygiene items, and professional attire in a supportive, judgment-free space. The Operations Assistant works across both programs, which are part of the Office of CARE & Case Management.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Additional Information:

• Hiring for the Fall 2026 semester.


• This is a part-time, non-benefited student-only position, and the hourly rate is $15.00


• The schedule for this position is 5 hours per week.


• Students do not work during scheduled class times, University academic calendar breaks, Federal Holidays, or University closures.
