Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Oklahoma is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of technicians in the assigned area, ensuring all product specifications and company policies are followed.

You will reinforce food safety and product quality during new employee orientation, demonstrate department requirements, and maintain trainee progress records. The role requires strong communication with all management levels and proficiency in English, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Additional essential duties may be assigned.
• Required: Associate’s degree in engineering or science-related field or two years experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Experience in manufacturing and food service industry.
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel
• Proficient in English, writing, reading, and speaking.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Good critical thinking and judgment skills to reach the best possible solution to a problem.

Responsibilities

• Directly trains and coordinates technicians in the assigned area per product specs and company policies.
• Reinforces food safety and product quality information with new employees during orientation.
• Understands requirements of the assigned line/department and demonstrates required skills.
• Follows all workplace and food safety policies required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Evaluates trainee progress and maintains records of progress and achievements.
• Communicates and collaborates with all management levels within the organization.
• Communicates effectively with all employees, giving direction and feedback based on experience.
• Develops content for new product specifications as needed.
• Follows up with feedback and recognition based on performance level.
