Job summary

Pilgrim’s Minnesota plant is hiring an FSQA Technician for afternoon shifts (5:00 PM–2:00 AM). This role requires a resume and involves performing food safety inspections, documenting results, and following plant procedures and policies.

You will operate testing equipment, use a computer for emails and data tasks, and work in a cold environment. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong teamwork, with English reading/writing and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and operate testing equipment.
• Ability to use computer for emails, database activities, spreadsheets and graphics.
• Ability to work in cold environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability work well with others.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)

• Perform food safety inspections and quality verifications

• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Ability to understand and operate testing equipment
• Ability to use computer for things such as email routine data base activities, spreadsheets and graphics
• Ability to work in cold environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Or more
• Ability work well with others
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)
