Job summary

Standard is seeking an FSQA Technician I to monitor Food Safety and Quality procedures in a fast-paced meat processing environment. You will verify programs, maintain specifications, and support safety audits while collaborating with the FSQA team.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed in a dynamic plant setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process control of Food Safety and HACCP Systems.
• Verification of programs, processes, and finish goods specifications.
• Maintenance of customer specifications.
• Knowledge of USDA role and onsite FSIS Inspector contact.
• Sampling Pre-Operational Microbial Sampling.
• New Hire GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense Orientation.
• Raw Material Audits and Verification of Supplier Specifications.
• Verification of packaging, pack dates, and product codes.
• Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Report violations and non-conformances to FSQA Manager/Supervisor.
• Complete reports and tasks as assigned.
