Job summary

Standard Meat Company is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to lead Quality Assurance Technicians and drive food safety and quality standards on the production floor. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve non-conforming material and ensure products meet specifications.

The incumbent will develop training materials, supervise performance, and maintain records in a fast-paced, food production environment while adhering to GMP and USDA-FSIS regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
• Some computer experience helpful.
• QA/QC practices and manufacturing knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA Technicians and set work priorities to ensure inspections run smoothly.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Shipping/Receiving, Maintenance to resolve non-conforming material.
• Schedule and assist with inspections.
• Prepare work instructions and QA/QC standards for manufacturing processes.
• Assist in decisions about readiness to ship products and maintain retrievable records.
• Develop training materials for in-house and contract manufacturers.
