Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company seeks an FSQA Lab Tech I to support lab operations, sample collection, and documentation, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance in a food manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in quality inspection and lab work, and strong Microsoft Office skills. You will maintain lab housekeeping, handle shipping/receiving for the Micro Lab, and perform finished goods testing on PET products and pre-retort cans.

Responsibilities

• Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and waste management, cleaning benchtops, carts, and biosafety cabinets.
• Manage shipping and receiving for the Micro Lab.
• Complete sampling errands and courier drops as needed.

Job description

FSQA Lab Tech I is a detail-oriented and proactive Food Quality Lab Technician supporting lab operations and product testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance and ensuring product quality through thorough inspection, sample collection, and documentation.

Job Duties:

• Maintain lab housekeeping by managing waste, cleaning benchtops, cleaning carts, sanitizing biological safety cabinets, de-cluttering lab, other duties as assign, etc.
• Manage shipping and receiving packages for the Micro Lab
• Complete any errands including but not limited to sample pick-up (when needed), courier package drop-off, and any outside lab errands
• Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
