Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years' experience with quality inspection, auditing, data collection, and testing.
• 6 months experience in a lab setting
• Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office and Office-based database systems.
• Ability to understand department documents
• Ability to display sound logic and attention to details.
• Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment.
• Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions.
• Read and speak English.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a science/quality program preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Respond quickly to information requests from internal and external customers.
• Ability to follow SOPs

Responsibilities

• Maintain lab housekeeping by managing waste, cleaning benchtops, cleaning carts, sanitizing biological safety cabinets, de-cluttering lab, other duties as assigned.
• Manage shipping and receiving packages for the Micro Lab
• Complete any errands including sample pick-up, courier package drop-off, and any outside lab errands
• Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans
