Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is seeking a FSQA Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance across USDA-inspected facilities producing RTE meat and poultry products.

You will guide the FSQA SMEs, manage audits, and ensure robust food safety programs, with emphasis on Listeria control and hazard analysis across product lines. A strong background in FSQA and regulatory frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED as minimum; Bachelor’s preferred in a technical field.
• Experience: 7–10 years in FSQA or regulatory compliance in USDA meat/poultry RTE processing.
• Certifications: HACCP required; SQF Practitioner or PCQI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory oversight with USDA FSIS personnel and inspectors.
• Lead HACCP/SSOP updates and prerequisite programs.
• Maintain environmental monitoring for Listeria and pathogens.
• Monitor changes to USDA, FDA, and international regulations.
• Lead internal and external audits including SQF/GFSI standards.
