Job summary

Gellert Global Group is seeking a FSQA Technician in Wisconsin to monitor and enforce food manufacturing controls with emphasis on hygiene, sanitation and product quality. You will perform quality control testing, support QC operations and report to the FSQA Supervisor/Manager.

The role requires HACCP/GMP knowledge, SQF familiarity, and the ability to work across production areas, inspect samples, release products, and contribute to a safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough understanding of HACCP; certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Thorough understanding of GMPs and food safety procedures.
• Working knowledge of SQF standards; SQF Practitioner certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration within a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (95% floor).

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to manufacturing hygiene and sanitation standards (GMPs).
• Conduct production checks (metal detector CCP, seals, weight, label review).
• Perform visual GMP checks in each department and inspect raw bulk products and finished goods.
• Support production staff in problem-solving efforts.
• Support SQF guidelines, HACCP analyses and prereq programs.
• Collect, label, log, bag, and organize samples for lab testing and verify orders.
• Organize daily testing to ensure correct product release and check products prior to shipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following rules and procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
