Job summary

Home Chef, a leading meal solutions company, is seeking a FSQA Superintendent to ensure readiness-to-heat food safety and quality programs. You will oversee sanitation, quality systems, and compliance across ready-to-heat kitchens, while coordinating with plant teams and cross-functional partners to drive improvements.

You will develop, deliver training, and lead corrective actions with the FSQA team; strong communication with stakeholders and ability to coach supervisory staff are essential for

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year program such as an Associate degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in quality assurance, food safety, food distribution, food manufacturing, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience with GFSI, SQF and USDA audits preferred.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety, quality assurance and sanitation in Home Chef’s ready to heat kitchens.
• Assist in the gathering, trending and reporting of metrics that effectively measure and communicate performance.
• Work closely with the plant teams and cross-functionally in understanding, identifying gaps and proposing changes to RTH processes that affect quality systems compliance.
• Responsible for reviewing production and CCP records for weekly positive release of all RTH meals.
