Position Overview

As an ER RN, you'll provide professional nursing care in our state-of-the-art emergency department, collaborating with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate emergency care delivery with interdisciplinary team members
• Execute critical nursing interventions in high-acuity situations
• Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on medical necessity
• Mentor and support nursing colleagues in professional development
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent acute care ER RN experience (within the last year)
• Active Florida RN license or eligible for compact licensure
• ADN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution
• BLS/BCLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional emergency certifications (ACLS, PALS, CEN)
