Job summary

RSM is offering a Risk Consulting Intern position in Minnesota. You will work with clients of varying sizes and industries, gaining hands-on experience with direct access to client management. A Performance Advisor will guide your development throughout the internship.

Projects focus on internal audits, SOX/compliance, and financial reporting controls to help clients manage risk. You will use MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze information and document findings, with travel to client sites

Qualifications

Pursuing at least a BA/BS degree, expected completion by December 2027 or June 2028.
Major in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Data & Analytics.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Must have access to transportation to client sites.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills including MS Office.
Strong multitasking and project management skills.
Ability to work as an effective team member.

Responsibilities

Sit in on client meetings and support consulting projects.
Prepare reports on consulting services and present results to clients.
Travel to client locations as requested for consulting services.
Complete client projects efficiently within project timelines.
Leverage proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development.
