Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Risk Consulting Financial Services Intern to gain hands-on client experience across Financial Institutions, Capital Markets, Insurance, and more. The role includes exposure to ESG, Digital Assets, Blockchain, regulatory matters, credit and interest rate risk, and interaction with client personnel at multiple levels.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed or in progress toward a BA/BS degree
• Working towards a BA/BS degree or equivalent from accredited university
• Majors include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics, Computer Science or Business Administration
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team
• Must possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support in process engagements
• Preparing reports on consulting services performed for clients; delivering reports and discussing results and recommendations with clients
• Traveling to client locations as requested to provide consulting services
• Completing client projects efficiently in accordance with the project timeline and critical dates
• Leveraging proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results and recommendations
• Attend specific conferences, trainings, and meetings to continue professional development relevant to the role
