Job summary

RSM is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern in Minneapolis to gain hands-on client experience with direct access to client management levels. You will work with various sized businesses across industries and be paired with a Performance Advisor to guide development.

Responsibilities include supporting client meetings, preparing reports, and traveling to client sites as needed while leveraging MS Office tools to analyze data and document results.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a BA/BS degree from an accredited university; expected completion by 2027/2028.
• Accounting or Finance-related focus often preferred for risk roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills complemented by technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projects.
• Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients; discuss results with clients.
• Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
• Complete client projects efficiently in line with project timelines and milestones.
• Leverage proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
• Attend trainings and meetings to support professional development relevant to the role.
