Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking a dependable Fryer Operator to join a food manufacturing team. You will operate, monitor, adjust, and clean the fryer line while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are followed throughout the shift.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. You will contribute to product quality and productivity by maintaining equipment and following procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to operate a tow motor/forklift.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Start and safely operate the fryer line per procedures.
• Set and adjust slicers at production start.
• Monitor fryer operation and adjust for quality.
• Keep salter filled during production.
• Assist with product rework when possible.
• Safely shut down fryer at end of shift.
• Clean fryer and surrounding equipment daily.
• Perform routine maintenance and greasing as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues.
