Job summary

ST Mart in Newark is actively seeking a reliable Fry Cook to join our growing fried chicken takeout operation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow safety rules, and ensure high-quality fried chicken and sides while delivering great meals to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as fry cook or line cook is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Attention to food quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fried chicken and menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Operate commercial fryers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality, temperature, and cooking times.
• Bread, season, and prepare products for cooking.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with kitchen prep, cleaning, and closing duties.
• Receive and properly store inventory when needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods.
