Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Team Leader for our Fruit & Veg department. You will oversee the team to ensure fresh produce, vibrant displays, and well-stocked shelves for daily customers. Your role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining quality, and delivering excellent customer service.

Join a busy store environment where you drive performance, manage stock processes, and uphold safety and product standards while supporting shop-floor operations and leadership communication.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching colleagues to build confidence and high performance.
• Strong operational knowledge of Fruit & Veg.
• Ability to plan workloads to meet daily deadlines in a busy store.
• Clear communication across the department and with store leadership.

• Lead the Fruit & Veg team to keep produce fresh, displays vibrant, and shelves well-stocked.
• Inspire customers with friendly, helpful service and act on feedback.
• Monitor stock handling, rotation, date codes and storage to reduce waste and ensure quality.
• Analyse department data to simplify routines and maintain safety and compliance.

Our Fruit & Veg counters are a huge part of what makes our stores special. As Team Leader, you’ll lead our Fruit & Veg team to keep our produce fresh, our displays vibrant, and our shelves well-stocked for our local shoppers every day.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, helpful service, placing customers at the heart of everything you do and acting on their feedback.
• Maintain exceptional standards: Reduce waste and keep quality sky-high through careful stock handling, date code checking, rotation, and proper storage.
• Lead and support your team: Coordinate day-to-day department communication, creating an engaging, supportive environment where achievements are recognised and ideas are welcomed.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Analyse department data to simplify routines, speed up processes, and ensure all safety, quality, and legal guidelines are met.
