Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Team Member in Avon, CT. You will perform processing and merchandising duties, ensuring a positive store image through courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include cutting, prepping, stocking, rotating, and merchandising produce, while adhering to safety rules and SOPs. No retail experience required, willing to work flexible shifts and participate in trainings.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product quality and proper preparation per WFM guidelines.
• Maintains sampling program and department cleanliness.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing and signs.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products effectively.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety regulations; maintains equipment.
• Reports safety hazards and assists with additional duties as needed.
