Job summary

General Mills, Inc. is seeking an R&D Technician to join the Fruit Snacks team within the ITQ group.

You will support diverse technologies and product chassis, including fruit shapes and snack formats, by conducting tests in labs, pilot plants, and production environments and documenting results. You will build skills in product and process development, procure materials, manage lab spaces, and assist analytical, shelf-life, and sensory activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2-year degree or high school diploma with 2+ years related experience.
• Basic computer/technology skills (Office Suite, etc.).
• Ability to work in pilot plant or production environments and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Fruit Snacks team initiatives.
• Execute and document tests and experiments in lab, pilot plant, or plant.
• Procure and manage materials; maintain lab spaces and equipment.
• Support analytical, shelf-life, and sensory evaluations.
• Assist with consumer testing and sample preparation as needed.
